I am sorry for dropping off the face of the planet there for a while. So much going on - SWAMPED!
The strange thing about coming back from Wyoming was that I came back to…Spring. I don’t know what exactly is different from when I left Georgia but the minute I stepped out of the Atlanta airport I could tell there was something different in the air (and it wasn’t just that there was more of it than there was in Casper!).
Spring has come to GA. I’ve been running with Calypso (sometimes another local scooterer and her dog gets together with us) and the temps have been cool - sometimes in the 20s or 30s!
But it is quite definitely Spring. Things are starting to bloom now too - daffodils, crocus.
Recently, it has become impossible for me to stay clean. It started in Wyoming. I would get dirty there - quite muddy on warm days. Now, back in GA, I am having the same problem. Mud, wet straw I used to soak up puddles, dog poop, dog vomit (Calypso threw up yesterday but is okay now), grease from helping my dad move junk cars etc. around last weekend. I’m always amazed that my jeans come out of the wash looking…clean.
More coming soon.
