First off, I’ve decided to do away with “The Wandering GA Musher” series. It doesn’t quite fit like I thought it might. If anyone has a major problem with this, let me know.
Second, I think at least one of the Gwinnett shelter huskies may have found a home. I’ll post more info when I get it.
It was 24 degrees the past two mornings and we saw our first frost yesterday. The leaves here are at their peak and the woods are filled with reds and golds, as well as the remaining green. I wish I could take it all in. I’ve been running with the bike the past two days and it made me remember why I prefer my scooter. The scooter is fine and I’ll be using it again ASAP.
Yesterday, I went to Atlanta to a meeting of the Vinings Rotary Club. Georgia’s only Iditarod finisher, Bill Borden, had invited me to come. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make it to the meeting but his wife, Brenda, was there. I enjoyed talking to her. Check out some of her pictures on http://www.cooldreams.net/gallery/albums.php and http://www.duesouthphoto.com/
