Princess is the oldest dog in the kennel, a retired leader in her teens. She is sometimes stiff in the mornings and coughs a little sometimes. Yet she often is bouncing around and greets me in the mornings. She is yellow and black and starting to blow her coat. Each morning I give her a backrub and she loves it. She often motions for me with her paw while standing on her doghouse. Although she is retired, Princess still goes on short, slow runs with the other older dogs and loves it. I have to ride the brake most of the time to keep it slow when she runs in lead.

I call Princess a number of things, “Little Princess,” “Baby,” “Baby Girl,” “Sweetheart,” etc.
