Iditarod and Yukon Quest winner (in both 2007 and 2008), Lance Mackey, is nominated for an ESPY award in the Best Outdoor Athlete category. He was nominated last year but did not win.
Below is the information:
Iditarod and Yukon Quest champion musher, Lance Mackey, is up
for an ESPY award in the Best Outdoor Athlete category. This is
the second year he has been nominated for the award although he
has yet to win.
Please help Lance Mackey win this year’s award by voting for him
in the 2008 ESPY Awards. To vote, go to http://promo.espn.go.com/espn/specialsection/espys2008/#/voting/bestmlsplayer/.
Note that you will have to register but it is free and only takes a
minute. You will also need Flashplayer 9. If you don’t have it, the
page will direct you to a site where you can download it free in
under two minutes. It’s not much of a hassle and it’s worth it to be
able to vote. You will also have to vote for athletes in other categories.
When you come to Best Outdoor Athlete, vote for Lance Mackey!
