Gem is a black and tan little husky. She is the smallest dog in the kennel and is, in fact, the smallest husky I have ever met. She is a sweet little girl although she is afraid of children. She is a good leader and loves to sit and sleep on top of her house when she is not running. Right now she is in heat, which drives all the male dogs, especially Shadow, crazy. She is the biggest flirt in the kennel and teases everyone. Oddly enough, she can be allowed to run loose even when in heat because she just likes to tease the males.

I call Gem “Gem Spears.”
